收藏: Qi and Blood Deficiency
According to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), qi is the vital energy that flows through the body, helping to maintain good health. When there is a deficiency of qi, a person may experience fatigue, shortness of breath, spontaneous sweating, a swollen tongue with teeth marks on the side, and a weak pulse. There may be a link between qi deficiency and aging, chronic medical diseases and their complications, and leading a busy, stressful life.
To treat qi deficiency, TCM practitioners recommend focusing on rest, relaxation, and stress management, as well as following a diet that supports qi balance. This may include consuming nourishing foods such as soups, stews, and steamed dishes, and avoiding overconsumption of raw or cold foods. In addition, TCM suggests addressing any issues with the spleen, as well as other organs that may be contributing to the qi deficiency.
