Every One Of My Experiences Brings Me Closer To God
Begin by finding a comfortable position, either seated or lying down, in a quiet and safe environment. Close your eyes and allow yourself to relax fully. Take a deep breath in through your nose, filling your lungs completely, and then exhale slowly through your mouth, releasing any tension or stress.
As you continue breathing deeply and slowly, focus on the sound and rhythm of your breath. Feel the sensation of the air entering and leaving your body, as it brings relaxation and tranquility with each cycle. With every exhale, feel your body becoming more and more relaxed, sinking deeper into comfort and peace.
Now, imagine yourself standing at the top of a beautiful staircase, consisting of ten steps. This staircase represents your journey into a deep state of relaxation and inner peace. As I count from ten to one, visualize yourself descending the staircase, feeling more and more relaxed with each step.
Ten... starting down the staircase, feeling the first wave of relaxation wash over you.
Nine... continuing down, feeling the relaxation deepen.
Eight... allowing the peacefulness to envelop you.
Seven... your body becoming heavier and more relaxed.
Six... your mind quieting, leaving only tranquility.
Five... half-way down, fully immersed in relaxation.
Four... every step taking you deeper and deeper.
Three... nearing the bottom, completely at peace.
Two... one more step to total relaxation.
One... you've reached the bottom, completely relaxed and ready to accept positive suggestions.
As you continue to relax in this peaceful state, let the following affirmations resonate within your mind and heart:
"Everyone, including myself, is doing the best they can."
"Everything in my life brings me closer to God."
Allow these affirmations to become a part of your inner dialogue. Feel the truth and power in these words, as they guide you to a deeper understanding and acceptance of yourself and others.
