Anal Itch

Anal itching, also known as gang men sao yang in Chinese medicine, is the condition of experiencing itching around the anus without any visible signs of anal pathology such as fistulae, inflamed hemorrhoids, or fissures.  It is a common condition that can affect individuals of any age and gender. In Chinese medicine, anal itching is often associated with disorders of the liver, spleen, and kidneys. Treatment typically involves the use of herbs and other traditional Chinese medicine techniques to restore balance to the affected organ systems.
