Acupuncture
Acupuncture and herbology are two distinct branches of Chinese medicine, with acupuncture treating diseases through external methods and herbology treating diseases through internal administration of herbs. However, they are often used together in clinical practice, and both are based on the fundamental theories of yin and yang, the five elements, the internal organs, and the meridians. Additionally, both are guided by the four methods of diagnosis and the eight classifications of disease.
